What this is
A hand-drawn paper-and-pen block stacker. The board is a sheet of graph paper, the pieces are sketched in coloured ink, the ghost piece is a dotted pencil outline, and a cleared line gets scribbled out with red pen. Real Tetris underneath: 7-bag randomiser, full SRS rotation with wall kicks (separate I-piece table), 480 ms lock delay with up to 15 resets, one hold per piece, and a five-piece next queue on desktop. Scoring: 100 / 300 / 500 / 800 for one to four lines, times the level. Soft drop 1 point a row, hard drop 2, and clearing the entire board pays 2000 × level. Level every 10 lines up to 20, which speeds up gravity. Best score persists in localStorage. Keyboard: arrows move, ↑ / X rotate and Z rotates back, Space hard drops, C or Shift holds, P or Esc pauses. Touch and mouse: drag to move or soft drop, flick down to hard drop, tap the board to rotate, swipe up to hold. On phones a button pad with real auto-repeat appears under the board; in landscape it moves to the right so the board keeps its height. The board is a focusable canvas with a full keyboard mapping and screen-reader announcements for score, line clears, holds and game over. Every block is a polygon whose corners are nudged by a stable hash of its grid position, so the linework looks hand-drawn but never vibrates between frames. Locked blocks are pre-rendered to an offscreen canvas. Paper grain is an inline SVG turbulence filter, the pencil-scratch sound is WebAudio, and Caveat / Patrick Hand load from Google Fonts with system handwriting fallbacks. No build step, no dependencies, no framework. One index.html, one stylesheet, five plain JS files. Installable as a home-screen app.
How it was made
Wanted Tetris that looks like a page from a notebook. The wobble is a hash of each cell's position, the ghost is a dotted pencil outline, and cleared lines get crossed out in red ink.
